Mudra-Samui is a private, gated beachfront community on the southern tip of the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. It offers an opportunity to live in harmony with the land and sea at the entrance of a serene lagoon offering year round access to a deep, sandy swimming channel where you can explore the magic of the reef, and all the wonders it has to offer.

Mudra-Samui was inspired by it’s neighbor, the award winning wellness retreat Kamalaya which recently was voted the number one destination wellness retreat in Asia. It’s land borders Mudra-Samui and is a quick five minute stroll down the sandy beach where guests can enjoy treatments in all disciplines of oriental and western medicine, inspiring workshops, and two restaurants offering sumptuous cuisine.

Mudra-Samui consists of nine, fully developed beachfront and seaview plots. All plots include a gated entrance, fully paved access roads, 220 volt three phase power, government water supplied from a large underground storage tank, and twenty-four hour security. The common area infra-structure, trails, and beachfront area are owned by Mudra-Samui Co. LTD, a Thai company, that manages the common area. All Mudra-Samui plot owners hold an equal share in the company to guide it’s direction, and contribute a reasonable yearly fee to facilitate the common area maintenance, utilities, and management.

Of the nine Mudra-Samui plots, five have raised beach front orientation, and four plots on higher ground along the back of the community offer spectacular views over the serene lagoon to the islands, mainland, and sunset beyond. The divisions between plots have been carefully conceived to integrate the natural topography of rolling land, old growth forest, and spectacular granite boulders, maximizing individual privacy while enhancing the vistas. The rear plots all share direct beach access through a magical private garden trail, and common area beachfront gathering area.

Mudra-Samui plots range in size from 1.6 to 2.1 rai (.65 to.85 acre) and range in price from $500,000 to $1,200,000 US depending on size, orientation, view, and natural topographic features. Each building site includes a concept drawing for a villa design by noted Hong Kong architectural firm MAP.
